On Saturday, November 8, 2014, I’ll be doing a 30 minute taped stand-up comedy set.
It’s part of a free show called Bronx Brewery Presents – Press Record – Free Comedy & Free Drinks!
Not only is the show free, FREE BEER will be provided by our gracious sponsor the Bronx Brewery! Beer not to your liking? Free wine will also be available. And free water.
Also featured on the show is a 30 minute set from my good friend, the hilarious Lukas Kaiser.
The show takes place at SoHo’s uber-hip, somewhat secret, third floor comedy oasis Brit Pack Theater. If you haven’t been to Brit Pack, you’re missing out on one of the best underground comedy venues in all of NYC (and therefore the world). If you have been to Brit Pack, you know the shows always fill up fast so please reserve your seat.
The show will start promptly at 7pm. RSVPs are highly recommended!
If you’d like to attend PLEASE RSVP VIA EMAIL by sending the subject “PRESS RECORD NOV” to BRITPACKRENTALS@GMAIL.COM by 4pm on Saturday Nov 8th.

Had a solo acoustic show last night. And though the small audience preferred to hang out in the back or on the sides, this little guy decided to come front and center to check out this tune.
Someone started messing with him (or her) and kitty had to run off, but he (or she) returned to the same spot to catch the end of the song. A dedicated fan.
Apparently, I make music for cats.

After nearly five months of aspiring to be a professional DJ, I have finally achieved my goal.
Coco66 in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn has tapped me to spin the music of the 1970s on occasional Tuesdays from now until the end of the year.
The next two dates are Tuesday, November 26th & Tuesday, December 3rd.
Come hear my favorite hits, lost classics and mediocre filler that was released from 1970 to 1979 — from Al Stewart to Al Wilson!

I received an email with the same subject as you see in the title of this post from Gabriela Herman — a young photographer who you might remember from being fucking awesome.
Turns out the portrait she took of me for her Bloggers project is currently being featured at an art show in Belfast. (An art show ending on December 21st, possibly the last day of the world, nonetheless.)
Her email was brief and cryptic:
hey! thought id share. this show opened last month in belfast.
But the two photos she attached to the email — the one above and the one below — say a thousand words.
Guess I made it to Ireland. Thanks for the trip, Gabriela.
